An initial 1 1/2 hour Initial Consultation for ongoing Design Services is required to kick start your home renovation/new build, kitchen, laundry or bathroom project. Every project is different, and this stage allows us to establish your project brief, timelines and budget.

In our initial consultation, I’ll come to your home for up to 1 1/2 hours, and it’s a hands-on, working design session. It’s a great way to kickstart your design journey!

We’ll dive into your vision—what you’re hoping to achieve—and discuss what’s feasible and what might need some rethinking, so you’re heading in the right direction from the start. We’ll review your inspiration boards, favourite images, and even things you dislike, which helps me understand your taste better.

We’re going to figure out what the base level budget for some of your key items & elements needs to be for what you want.  Let’s figure out what you want really costs.

We’ll review your completed questionnaire & establish an outline of the project. I can assess the existing conditions of the space, do a check measure, and review any existing special pieces you’d like to keep, and discuss any functional requirements. The initial consultation for design advice can help you get focussed with establishing a plan for the room.

You’ll receive a thorough Scope of Work, pinning down all the moving parts in your project, and a realistic assessment of the Design Program Timeline.

You’ll also receive a Detailed Design Proposal outlining our services, fees and terms & conditions.

This initial project briefing is $570 + GST, payable up front to secure a booking. I’ll email you a questionnaire to fill out, and will request photos of your existing room/s, plans of your house, and any inspirational photos you may have collected, so that I can review this relevant information prior to the consultation, supplied a minimum of 5 working days in advance.
